Peer Integration Program (PIP)

A Peer Specialist is available to you through ACCES-VR. The peer’s role is to provide you with supportive services and to work with you to remove barriers that are or may be hindering your ability to reach your employment goals while an ACCES-VR  Consumer.

Below is a list of barriers the peer specialist can assist you with:
• Self-Advocacy/Sufficiency Skills
•Transportation Coordination
• Child Care
•Social Skills Building/Support
• Professional clothing
• DSS

• Food Insecurities
• Assistive Technology
• Mental Health Services
• Peer counseling
• Support Groups
• Housing Assistance
